This AAA studio is known for producing outstanding titles, their new undisclosed project requires a Senior Technical Animator to work with a talented team on an exciting, high profile action game. The role requires you to create and maintain work pipelines on an animation heavy title.

Responsibilities:

· Setting up and maintaining pipelines and workflows
· Writing relevant tools
· Working with design to define animation requirements and breaking them into individual tasks
· Provide guidance and feedback to animation team
· Creating state machines
· Oversee rigging and skinning of characters
· Be aware of, and seek out, new technical developments that would benefit productivity.

Experience:

· In a senior role, shipped at least one successful action game
· Been instrumental in setting up workflows for a successful character based game
· Worked as core team member during early stages of development

Required Attributes:

· Excellent animation and scripting skills
· Must work in an organised and structured manner
· Excellent understanding of Maya
· Thorough understanding of animation pipelines
· Communicate clearly with design and product owner group
· Full understanding of state machines
